The App Store listing is still in review. Until it is approved, iPhone and iPad run Helix in the browser and add it to the home screen, where it opens full screen like any other app — the same app, the same account, the same free tier. It works on a computer too.
How to install
- Tap the button — it opens the Helix Anesthesia listing on Google Play.
- Tap Install.
- Open Helix and sign in with your email. No password to create.
- Tap the button — Helix opens straight in your browser. Nothing to install first.
- Sign in with your email. No password to create.
- Android: a blue bar appears at the top offering to install it — tap Install. If you miss it, the ⋮ menu has "Install and create shortcut".
- iPhone or iPad: you must be in Safari — Add to Home Screen is a Safari feature, and Chrome, Firefox and DuckDuckGo on iPhone do not have it. In Safari, tap the Share icon, then "Add to Home Screen". Safari never offers this by itself, so you have to go and get it.
- Open it from that icon from now on — it runs full screen, with no address bar.
Do add it to your home screen rather than bookmarking it. On iPhone, Safari clears a plain website’s saved data after about a week of not opening it; an app added to the home screen keeps everything, so your blocks and scans stay available without a connection.
